The finest collection of native wildlife in Britain
Meet the Animals!
Get the most from your visit with our half-hourly keeper talks which give you a further opportunity to learn about the animals and see them up-close.
We are temporarily closed due to the Coronavirus and will re-open as soon as we can. Our usual open dates are weekends & during state school holidays.
A Safe Visit
We want your visit to be a safe one and protect all visitors and staff. We have made changes to the way we work.
Please read the details before you visit.
Closed for November!
We are sad to say that, in accordance with the latest Government restrictions, the British Wildlife Centre is closed during November.
We hope we will be open for bookings again soon. We’ll be sure to keep you updated here
and on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, where you’ll also find the latest news of our wonderful wildlife. Our office will continue to be staffed during this time so you can contact us.
In the meantime, keep safe and we hope to see you very soon.
Please support our animals in this time of need
We have been deeply touched by the generous donations made by so many of you and your messages of support during these difficult times. As the challenges continue we are appealing for donations to help us to survive. Any donation will be much appreciated. We would love to be here for you to visit into the future, so you can continue to share our passion for Britain’s wonderful wildlife. Every penny of every donation will go towards the care of our animals. Payment is made securely by Pay Pal (you don’t need to be registered with Pay Pal, you can check out as a guest). Thank-you so very much.
