Getting to the Centre

We are on the A22 in Surrey, just 10 minutes south of the M25 Junction 6 (Godstone) and 10 minutes north of East Grinstead, just north of the Newchapel roundabout (junction with B2028).

By Car:

From the M25/North
Exit at M25 junction 6 (Godstone) and take the A22 South towards Eastbourne. We are about 10 minutes from Godstone, on the A22 itself, just past Blindley Heath (don’t follow the road signs to Lingfield).

From the South
We are on the A22, just north of the roundabout at Newchapel (junction with B2028). We are about 10 minutes from East Grinstead, and 20 minutes from Crawley.

Public Transport:

Unfortunately there are no scheduled bus services past our door, although residents of Tandridge District can use the special Buses4U service – a pre-booked flexible local service with no fixed timetable. Visit their web site at or call 01372 20 45 40 to book.

The nearest train station is Lingfield (on the London Victoria to East Grinstead line). From Lingfield station you’ll need a taxi, which will cost about £6 or £7. Lingfield station does not have a taxi rank so you will need to book a taxi (see local firms below). Unless you have a good Ordnance Survey map and are happy negotiating public footpaths across the fields (a lovely walk), we don’t advise walking from the station due to the very busy A22 road at the end of the route. Note: East Grinstead station does have a taxi rank and is two stops on from Lingfield.

Sadly, during these unprecedented times we have of course had to close to visitors and help minimize the spread of Covid-19 and relieve pressure on the NHS. Our source of income has entirely stopped, whilst many of our costs are ongoing. The feeding and care of our animals is our top priority. Our Head Keeper, Matt and his deputy, Izzy are working very hard and long hours to ensure that our high standards of animal welfare are maintained.

We are appealing for donations to help us to survive during this challenging period. Any donations, large or small, will be very much appreciated. We would love to be here for you when normality returns, so you can enjoy the animals and continue to share our passion for Britain’s wonderful wildlife.

Thank you

Every penny of every donation will go towards the care of our animals.

Payment is made securely by Pay Pal.
